Dear teachers and officers,

The St John Ambulance Brigade will be organising the National Workshop for Cadet Proficiency Badge Scheme.  The aims of the workshop are:

1.         To provide a platform for schools, Zones and HQ to share best practices in planning and organising activities related to Cadet Proficiency Badges.

2.         To inform schools and zones on the information and procedures on the Cadet Proficiency Badge Scheme

3.         To provide schools and zones with resources available to plan and organise activities.

4.         Provide informal setting for interaction between various CPBS stakeholders (teachers/NHQ CPBS Staff/CPBS vendors)

The workshop will be held on 10 March 2012 (Saturday) at Nanyang Girls High School.

We are extending our invitation to all schools with SJAB units to participate in this workshop.  We hope that through this workshop, the teachers and officers will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and resources to help their cadets achieve the proficiency badges.

We would like to invite schools to send up to 4 participants (teachers or officers) to attend the workshop.

We are also extending our invitation to schools with best practices, through poster presentation, to share with us the activities that were conducted to benefit the cadets.

Enclosed are the registration forms for participants and presenters.  Please submit to us via email at or Fax No: 62965797 by 15 December 2011.  Schools who are participating in the poster presentation will be informed.

For any enquiry, please e-mail us at (Attn: Mr Colin Ting / Mr Wayne Tan).  As Wayne and I are chairpersons, we hope to obtain support from schools.

Yours sincerely,

Colin Ting
