CPB Matters for your Attention (Implemetation and Reminders)

Here are some reminders for your information.


1.     Implementation of Life Support Badges

The CPBS Committee, in collaboration with the First Aid and Life Support Committee has begun implementation of the Life Support Badges.  Including the existing Heart Saver badge, there are also two new badges, namely CPR+AED and Basic Cardiac Life Support.  For more details, please refer to the attached circular.


2.     Booking for SANA & Civil Defence Course

If you have not booked the course for your cadets, do look at our CPBS website ( for the vacancies available before making any bookings.  Bookings can be made via the St John Portal.  Currently, there are more slots for Civil Defence are the ones to be held in November at the Queensway Fire Station.


3.     Payment of SANA Course

Schools who have made the bookings for SANA Course, please expedite the course fees before the start of the course, by 21 October.  Regardless of payment mode (Cash/Cheque/IFAAS/IFT), we request schools to help in order for us to make payments to SANA Course on time.  Kindly refer to your emails on the payment procedures.


4.     Booking & Payment for Knowledge of the Order of St John Online Assessment

Have you booked the test slots for your cadets?  If you have not, please remember to do so via the St John Portal.  Some of you may have not logged into the St John Portal to book the test slots for your cadets before.  It is found in OAP-> Manage Assessment.  Booking will close on 14 October.


For the test fees, we appreciate you to make payments as early as possible in order for us to confirm your test slots.  Regardless of the payment mode (Cash/Cheque/IFT), please make sure the payment reaches the Finance office by 18 October 2013.


5.     Registration for Health Ambassador Badge Programme Launch Briefing

If you have missed the email on the launch briefing for the new badge, Health Ambassador, we hope you can view the briefing details at the booking website:


This event will be publicised in the media and we hope to obtain your support.

Officers/teachers who are handling the administration, please remember to include the officers/teachers in the St John Portal records.  Even if they do not need the admin account access, their records are still required for the purpose of keeping records of their services.  All you need is to create records without assigning them any access to the modules.
